Lupe Fiasco and Ty Dolla $ign are two of the most restlessly creative minds in music right now, and they also both have all-caps drug-named alter-egos (#DROGAS and production alias D.R.U.G.S., respectively). It kind of makes sense that they'd team up for a DROGAS/D.R.U.G.S. partnership.

Tonight, Lupe shared something the two made together, hinting at more in the song's intro, a phone call that has him explaining, "You know we got motherfucking touchdowns on the album, but you know, I know niggas want to hear what we coming up with."

What thay decided to share, the smooth, upbeat "$nitches," could totally be a radio hit if Lupe was into that kind of thing. In addition to a hook from Ty, it also features the L.A. singer's production. If this is the album's outtake, whatever else is coming from these two seems very promising indeed.

UPDATE 11:06 p.m.: Lupe has shared a second song, "30'S [$NITCHES 2]," produced by SX. It finds Lupe getting melodic in his own right and telling some stories about a set of characters, including a girl whose "favorite rapper's from Canada" wrapped up in a drug bust. Check it out below:
