Buddy has been at work on his debut project Idle Times for quite a while. It goes as far back as 2012, when Complex highlighted the Compton rapper as someone to watch for in the near future. Well, the future is now as Buddy finally drops his much-delayed street album.

The 13-song project features a number of high profile guests, including Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus, Kendrick Lamar, and Pharell, who Buddy is signed under. Skateboard P also provides the majority of the beats here, with the production credits rounded out by Boi-1da, Cardo, Chuck Inglish, and Rich Skillz. Buddy sticks to a laid back left coast demeanor on Idle Times, and it's clear that time was truly on his side here.
