Earlier today, a Cosmo blog post pointed to an outlandish French gossip item that superstar singer Beyoncé and United States President Barack Obama are having an affair. A French photographer named Pascal Rostain claimed that the Washington Post would be running the story on Tuesday (February 11), replete with photos, presumably shot by the photographer. "You know, at this time, the United States, there is something big that is happening," he was quoted as saying. Whatever that means.

The Washington Post almost immediately refuted the rumor that they'd be publishing the story. The paper's spokesperson Kris Coratti told Poytner the rumor is "definitely not true."

Brace yourself for the BeyHave, Pascal.
