Check Out RBMA's Trailer for "What Difference Does It Make? A Film About Making Music" with Cameos from Erykah Badu, Rakim & More

Next month, Red Bull Music Academy will release documentary What Difference Does It Make? A Film About Making Music to celebrate their 15th anniversary. Shot at the RBMA studio in New York and directed by Ralf Schmerberg, who's won various awards over the course of his career, the film spotlights their 2013 programs and the ever-evolving landscape of music. It also put focus on how artists adapt from a creative and personal standpoint. 

The 3-minute video trailer for the film can be viewed above. It includes cameos from Erykah Badu, Brian Eno, Rakim, and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry among others, who give their outlook of how music affects the culture. Additional interviewees in What Difference Does It Make? will include Nile Rodgers, Skream, Q-Tip, Just Blaze, Egyptian Lover, ThundercatJames Murphy, and Debbie Harry.

What Difference Does It Make? A Film About Making Music will be available to watch on RBMA's official website February 18, free of charge. A day prior, special screenings will be held in a handful of cities, including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Detroit. Next week (Jan. 15) RBMA will be accepting applications for their 2014 series, which takes place in Tokyo.
