Less than a day after the announcement was made that OutKast would be reuniting in April for Coachella, the organizers of Governors Ball have confirmed with Rolling Stone that the duo will be the headlining act for this year's NYC-based festival. It will be taking place from June 6 to June 8 at Randall's Island Park. This will be Big Boi and Andre 3000's first concert together in NYC in over a decade. Initial reports indicated that Coachella and Governors Ball are going to be two dates on a festival tour that the ATLiens will go on this year. Last year's Governors Ball included performances from acts such as Kendrick Lamar, Guns N' Roses, and Kanye West.
