Last week, Ke$hachecked into rehab for an eating disorder. The 26-year-old pop star is in the midst of a 30-day program at Chicago area facility Timberline Knolls. In a new interview with People, Her mother, Pebe Sebert, places the blame for the pressure on her daughter to be thinner on her producer Dr. Luke and others in Ke$ha's camp. "Dr. Luke had been telling her how she had to get in shape and lose weight and all this stuff," Sebert says. "She was exercising and dieting and ultimately doing everything she could, but not getting thin fast enough. And that's when she first became bulimic."

According to Sebert, Dr. Luke continued to criticize Ke$ha. "Dr. Luke told a friend of ours he thought she looked like a refrigerator on her latest video, and could she please try to control her weight," she says. "After she went on a 14-day juice cleanse, he said, 'Thank God you finally got rid of the weight! We've all been talking about it!' So she felt like she couldn't trust anyone." Sebert states Ke$ha contacted her right before Christmas and admitted to having an eating disorder.

A rep for Dr. Luke has denied the claims made by Sebert. "These statements and allegations concerning Dr. Luke are completely false," the statement reads. "It is unfortunate that at a time Ke$ha is suffering immensely and trying to heal at a treatment center, her mother is taking this approach with the media. I give Ke$ha my utmost support and well wishes for a quick return to health."

Ke$ha has been aligned with Dr. Luke since signing to his Kemosabe Entertainment label in 2005. Her 2010 debut album Animal was executive produced by Luke, as well as her 2012 follow up, Warrior.
