Ice Cube Talks About His Legacy, N.W.A. Movie, and Relationship With 2Pac With the Breakfast Club

Ice Cube made an appearance on Power 105's The Breakfast Club this morning to promote his upcoming film Ride Along. But the lengthy conversation frequently circled back to Ice Cube's illustrious rap career, especially the early days. Things started with DJ Envy asking Cube about his beef with Cypress Hill, which Cube said was squashed years back. Then the conversation shifted to ending of N.W.A. and this subsequent diss records about the group, like "No Vaseline." Cube revealed that he and Dr. Dre have never spoken about those songs, even after reconciling. He also gave an update on the N.W.A. movie.

Cube also talked about his relationship with 2Pac. He said that the two met back when Pac was a part of Digital Underground, and said that he got to see a different side of the West Coast legend than the rest of the world saw.
