In today's New York Times, a full-page announcement of the 2014 Governors Ball festival (which touches down at Randall's Island in New York City from June 6-8) was placed, and the EDM lineup is pretty solid. Joining OutKast (who seem to be hitting every damn music festival in 2014) and Jack White are the likes of Skrillex, Axwell B2B Sebastian Ingrosso, Disclosure, The Glitch Mob, Classixx, and Tourist (among other electronic acts and DJs). Interesting mixture of bigger EDM styles and more niche, deeper selections. Not mad. Pre-sale tickets are gone, but the regular ticket sale is apparently going on today, and starts at $230.
