Pomo is seriously becoming one of my favorite house-oriented dudes in a hurry. His drums are always crunchy in an organic kind of way, something that so many producers stray away from. The vibes are always super fresh and thick and full of nudges of retro funk and soul. Pomo added all the right touches here to this rare '80s rare gem and took it straight to the West Coast in the middle of summer with all the filter and disco synth washes. It's simple, but ridiculously effective. And I personally love playing out tunes like this when I'm warming things up for the night. They always seem to make people smile and groove.
