We're noticing an odd batch of dancehall infiltrating our EDM scene... and we like it. when Yellow Claw, DJ Snake, and Spanker linked up for "Slow Down," we noticed that immediately infectious dancehall breakdown and were loving it. Where Major Lazer looks to infuse dancehall and reggae vibes into EDM, this almost felt opposite, and on "Moortje," it feels like a more futuristic blend of dancehall and dance music, with a SICK tempo shift halfway into the tune. Seeing Yellow Claw on a track should have you interested off top, but this one is no nonsense. And it's free. Turn up.
