With even Justin Bieber hitting up the Chicago rapper to work together, a Chance the Rapper feature is in high demand these days. But there's no topping the chemistry between Chance and Vic Mensa, the longtime friends, collaborators and peers in Chicago's SAVEMONEY crew—two guys whose sing-song, frenetic approaches to rapping are in a league of their own.
Just in time for the weekend, the duo has shared a new song, "Suitcase," produced by frequent collaborator Cam Osteen ("Cocoa Butter Kisses," "Orange Soda," etc.). It's laid back and takes a pensive tone on the challenges of touring, but it's still full of plenty subtle flexing and humble brags, not to mention shows of both rappers' signature lyrical dexterity and disregard for anything resembling a normal flow.
"Make sure in the midst of all you don't forget to call me to come back," Chance raps. This seems like a good time to check in on how he's doing. Check it out below:
