Something to look forward to in the new year.

R. Kelly will be bringing back his Trapped in the Closet series in 2014. The new chapters will air on IFC, who will also be re-airing all 33 chapters of this incredibly absurd and likewise entertaining series this Saturday, December 7. There's no word yet on how many more chapters will be added to the series come next year, but any way to get more Sylvester, Pimp Lucius, and Reverend James Moseley in our lives is a plus.

Kelly is very proud of his hip-hopera phenomenon, which began back in 2005. He takes it very seriously, too. Here's how he explained to Entertainment Weekly his process of getting into writing mode for the series: “If I struggle with what Pimp Lucius is going to say to Twan, what I will do is sometimes I’ll go and put on a tacky suit and a wig and some tacky glasses and some shoes with heels... I have to really dress up sometimes to get into character for the character to come alive in me.”

If you can't wait for Saturday to watch the full Trapped in the Closet series to get pumped up for its return, you can watch all the episodes here.
