Today M.I.A. released a Spotify-only bonus track to her new album Matangi called "Trouble Again," in which the Sri Lankan rapper remixes the album's "Double Bubble Trouble." Though the rap stays mostly the same, this version opens with cheeky bubble-pop synths before quickly building up to a rattling bass-heavy beat worthy of, say, Bonecrusher, who she samples on Matangi's "aTENTion."
"Double Bubble Trouble" is one of the best tracks on her fourth album, but if you like something less fizzy and more physically powerful, "Trouble Again" may be a bit more your speed.
