Now this is a brilliant idea; instead of striving to pen long diatribes about "the good old days," Zinc does went ahead and used his best tool (the turntables) to kick off his new "trip down memory lane" mix series, "Trust Me, I Was There." This set is aimed at bringing forth the biggest tracks that smashed the club and/or radio wherever he was during that time frame. His first mix takes us back to the years of 1986/1987; even though he admits that he was in school during those years, pirate radio put him onto a number of jams. Expect a lot of acid house and electro, and no fancy mixing. Strictly vibes and blends. Happy hunting!
