The revolution is here. Well, at least in a new form of creating music with Google Glass. In the video above veteran producer and engineer Young Guru takes a stroll through town while sporting the high tech eyewear. By using Google Glass he is able to pick up on music around him with its Sound Search application, as well as play music through a simple verbal request. At the end of the video Guru creates a beat by using the sounds of his exploration.

It's clear Google Glass is looking to tap into the music industry with their new technology. "With these new features, we’re now building a great music experience on Glass, whether you’re a classical music professor, an acclaimed sound engineer and hip-hop producer, or someone who wants to listen to their favorite tunes anytime, anywhere,” says Ed Sanders, director of marketing for Google Glass.

While this is a nice addition to its many other features, the bigger question is the price tag of $1,500 for Google Glass. Guru, who works closely with artists like Jay Z,Rihanna and Kanye West, likely got his pair free of charge for his services. The common tech enthusiast won't be so lucky.
