M.I.A. made an appearance on The Colbert Report last night to talk about her new album Matangi and also perform a few songs from the project. The first song she performed was her latest single "Y.A.L.A." Her DJ and a very charismatic friend who danced in the background also joined M.I.A. on stage while the singer delivered her performance wearing shades. She later went into "Come Walk With Me." Both performances featured a green and red visual effect, similar to her cover art for Matangi.
