Lady Gaga hosted Saturday Night Live, and also served as the show's musical guest. She performed "Do What U Want" alongside R. Kelly. Things got very raunchy, with simulated sex, dry humping, and Kelly lifting Gaga on his shoulder at one point.
Gaga also performed "Gypsy" tonight. She started by playing on a piano, backed by two guitarists. Midway through she stood up and was given a guitar by a man clad only in purple leggings, who then picked up a tambourine.
Both songs appeared on her latest album, ARTPOP, which came out Tuesday. Meanwhile, as host Gaga acted in several skits, including one that made fun of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, in which she dressed up as an Apple store employee. She also had a skit in which she made fun of herself and other pop music contemporaries through the concept of a covers album.
