The second part of Eminem's four-part inteview with Zane Lowe has been released. Em talks about his progression as a producer and an MC, and how he balances commercial success with his personal life.

The Detroit rapper describes his decision to get back into producing. "Sometimes I may get something in my head, like an idea or the mood of something that I would want," he says. "And I'm not always gonna get that by going through different tracks that other people have made. They don't know what's in my head."

Later on Eminem echoes his sentiment that was evident on "The Monster" concerning commercial success. "Wanted to receive attention for my music/Wanted to be left alone in public excuse me," he raps with a rigid tone on the record. "As far as like being a pop star, I never intended to be any of that," he tells Lowe. "All I ever wanted to do was get respect from my peers and other rappers. All the other stuff that came with it was just confusing to me. I don't feel like I ever set out to make a pop song or a song that was gonna be some kind of crossover song."
