After revealing a 90-second snippet over the weekend of "Don't Front," Eminem releases the full version today featuring Buckshot on the hook. The song is included as a bonus for fans who buy his new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 and Call Of Duty: Ghosts as a bundle pack through Gamestop and enter a special discount code to retrieve it.
This is Eminem at his finest as he delivers a lyrical onslaught over Black Moon's 1993 classic "I Got Cha Opin." As Just Blaze explained on Twitter, the song is a loop of the open bars from the original record. Em announces on "Don't Front" that he's representing for the real rappers and also pays homage to the late great Proof, his best friend who was shot and killed in 2006. "Rest in peace to big Proof/You was a beast, you lyrically mirrored me/Molded my flow off of you, your spirit's flowing through me/I love you Doody, without you I feel so incomplete," he raps.
