Dillon Francis' "Without You" has no doubt provided one of the brightest spots in 2013 for the Mad Decent master. The collaboration with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs provided a lens for a different side of Dillon Francis. The indie dance hit was a breakup number with no obscene sampling or snarling hooks, just T.E.E.D.'s vocals as an extension of Dillon's heartbeat-paced twinkling dancefloor number. The musical equivalent of the innocence at a high school prom teeming with teen puppy love. Future Classic's Hayden James gives it a beat change up and remixes it with a tempo uptick and a boppin' bounce. Like floating on a bouncy cloud, Hayden's hazy psychedelia is a rush of dopamine. It's giggles, it's hopping, it's fun. The lyrics are still great, but the changed atmosphere is just the cake.
