Childish Gambino made an appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show last night. Accompanied by Thundercat, he performed the song "Shadows," a song that features the singing side of Gambino more than his rapping prowess. In fact, he only drops one rap verse on the entire song. Meanwhile, Thundercat, decked out in a vibrant jacket, played the guitar by Gambino's side, as the two started the performance by sitting on the couch of the set. Halfway through the performance, both of them stood up and headed over to the stage area, where a band was already playing.

Half of "Shadows" is produced by Thundercat, with the other half of the song co-produced by Stefan Ponce, Ludwig van Goransson, and Gambino himself. The song will appear on the rapper's upcoming sophomore album, Because The Internet, due to be released December 10. As part of his appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show, Gambino was asked about his aspirations for the future and Internet rumors.
