Back in August, Q-Tip and Kanye Westfilmed a Director X-directed video with Busta Rhymes in New York for a new song, rumored to be called "I Wanna Thank You" and also feature Lil Wayne. It's been anticipated for a while: In October 2012, Q-Tip said he wanted to start a petition called "Busta Rhymes Make 'I Wanna Thank You' Your First Single." Although it wasn't his first single (that would be "Twerk It"), the song is finally here.
Just Q-Tip and Busta actually offer verses, but Kanye and Wayne each drop some ad libs, with Wayne's serving as a reminder that Busta is now part of Cash Money/Young Money. Busta's E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event) 2, the sequel to the 1998 classic, is due in 2014 on the label.
