August Alsina has dominated the airwaves with "I Luv This Shit." However, as popular as the song (and its subsequent Chris Brown and Trey Songz remix) has been, the emerging singer is still flying under the radar somewhat. For those questioning his vocal skills and his talent, the Louisiana native has responded by taking Future's "Honest," stripping it down to an acoustic version, delivering a stirring rendition. He takes the rap single and transforms it into a smooth R&B song, and manage to switch up his vocal delivery without effort.

Towards the end of the song, Rocky Diamonds jumps on for a verse, and while he does not sound comfortable over the stripped down instrumental, he handles his own with a deliberate flow on his verse.

Call August Alsina the "I Luv This Shit" guy all you want. He's not going away anytime soon.
