Ever since A$AP Ferg released his debut studio album Trap Lord in August he's become a central voice for the streets of Harlem alongside his A$AP Mob brethren A$AP Rocky. He carries himself with a distinguishable wisdom, one that depicts how the 25-year-old rapper was able to turn nothing into something through music. So to call himself the "Hood Pope" is not far off from the truth. The video for Ferg's latest single, directed by Shomi Patwary, shares a parallel theme where the children in his city have accepted the struggle as a way of life. They need someone like Ferg to step in and give them guidance. Yeezus ain't got nothing on Harlem's "Hood Pope."

Song produced by VERYRVRE. Visuals by Shomi Patwary and A$AP Ferg.
