Eminem's latest album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 made headlines yesterday for topping the Billboard 200 chart by selling 793,000 copies in its first week. That marks the second highest first week tally for an album this year, right behind Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience which sold 968,000 in March.

Maybe even just as impressive is the fact that all seven of Eminem's studio albums as well as a greatest hits compilation entered the Billboard 200 this week. According to HipHopDX, each album made its way onto the chart with modest results. Aside from MMLP2, The Marshall Mathers LP sold the most at 10,000 copies. All told, Eminem sold over 830,000 albums this past week. You can view the finally tallies and where they placed below.

#1 The Marshall Mathers LP 2 – 793,000
#30 The Marshall Mathers LP – 10,000
#58 The Eminem Show – 7,000
#64 Recovery – 7,000
#94 Curtain Call – 5,000
#115 The Slim Shady LP – 4,000
#158 Encore – 3,000
#159 Relapse – 3,000

In related news, Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg recently spoke with Billboard about their business ventures for Shady Records, including partnerships with Call of Duty: Ghosts and Beats by Dre. Rosenberg also goes on to describe their decision behind calling Em's new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. "When [Eminem] approached me with it I definitely thought it was a bold idea and we had several discussions about it," he says. "But what he ultimately said was 'Look, people can say whatever they want to but this is the project that I want to make.'"
