Hello New Yorkers. If you are looking for something well out of the ordinary to do on Halloween weekend that steps out of your normal club-going, nightlife-searching boundaries in the city, then these set of visionaries might just have the thing for you.

On October 26, some of the freshest talents in the music, art and fashion backgrounds bring you YYYNYC – a collective event that is set to change the way nightlife in NY is to be experienced. According to the words of the main host, Nick the Duke, "We are combining forces and creating a monthly event that brings people from all walks of life under one roof… Beyond creating a party, we are looking to create a movement for our generation."

The first event features Ivan Smagghe (Kill the DJ), Jokers Of The Scene (Throne of Blood/Fool’s Gold), Lil Internet (Bromance), and is hosted by The Good Kids, Sam Banks, Lil Government, Bad Brilliance, and of course Nick The Duke.

What makes this event unique also, is the location: 87 Lafayette Street in Manhattan – a 118-year-old fire station that is now a historic New York City Landmark.

Tickets are on sale now via Resident Advisor; go to yyynyc.com for more info.
