Nipsey Hussle squawked at us. (And he made some important points.)

Date: October 15

"I took offense to, not only Complex's stance, but the major labels' stance on how they treat artists, how they treat the culture. And I felt like we're at a point where our culture's getting exploited and it's looking like they're trying to do us like they did rock 'n' roll. They're trying to do us like they did Africa, and they're trying to extract all of our natural resources for their own exploited reasons." —Nipsey Hussle

Members of a Brooklyn Community Board deemed Biggie Smalls too fat to have a street named after him in the neighborhood where he grew up.

Date: October 17

"'He started selling drugs at 12, he was a school dropout at 17, he was arrested for drugs and weapons charge, he was arrested for parole violations, he was arrested in North Carolina for crack cocaine, in 1996 he was again arrested for assault, he had a violent death and physically the man is not exactly a role model for youth,' [CB2 member Lucy] Koteen told fellow board members. 'I don't see how this guy was a role model and frankly it offends me,' she added." —Julian Kimble

Kim Kardashian posted a picture of herself in a bathing suit to show off her post-baby body and her husband saw it and said that he was coming home to have sex with her immediately.

Date: October 17

"After revealing a few days ago that she's been on the Atkins diet as of late, Kim Kardashian is showing off her post-baby body in her first bikini picture since giving birth to baby North West-and she looks great. Kim posted the picture on her Instagram, along with the simple caption, '#nofilter.'

"The picture unsurprisingly garnered major attention on social media, but the best was undoubtedly Kanye West's reaction." —Tanya Ghahremani

Eminem released "Rap God," a song on which he raps extremely fast and extremely well about how he's better at rapping than everyone else. (He makes a pretty good case.)

Date: October 14

"Eminem teased the release on Facebook where he was going to reveal five clues about the song. However, before he could get passed clue number one 'Rap God' leaked in Europe and now has made its way to our ears. While his first single 'Berzerk' played off a rock-infused backdrop courtesy of legendary producer Rick Rubin, 'Rap God' centers around the Detroit MC's cutthroat lyricism and a menacing bounce of a beat that follows his rapid delivery." —Edwin Ortiz
