Odd Future's Tyler, the Creator, Hodgy Beats, Domo Genesis and Earl Sweatshirt trade verses on a posse cut produced by Nottz. "Look" is low-key, calling to mind a classic '90s cipher, but the straightforward approach leaves each rapper open to try out some lyrical acrobatics despite Tyler's outburst of "fuck being a rapper and lyrical."
Hodgy sounds oddly serious while flouting rhyme schemes with lines like "nobody ever told me that I spilled more than I drank/I didn't know that,I didn't know, I didn't know," while Domo goes for classic battle rap tongue twisters like "you won't find me on no office shit/I'm semi-auto off the shits/My whole approach is arsenic" and Earl gets gritty after pointing out he developed "a Tyler reputation just from chalking out niggas." It's not revolutionary, but it's super satisfying to dig into.
