Over the weekend SZA debuted a new song during her performance at the Fader Fort for CMJ week.
The record is called "Child's Play" and features the TDE singer describing an adolescent relationship that's bound to grow further. "You're in your backyard/Building a fantasy/Fuck reality/Do you want to know, know me," she croons over a layered backdrop done up nicely by her live band. Like labelmates Black Hippy, SZA is proving to be a unique artist that finds a way to connect with her fans on an emotional level.
"Child's Play" will be included on SZA's upcoming EP Z.
