Miley Cyrus' latest interviews with Rolling Stone continue to ruffle feathers with her musical peers. Just yesterday Danny Brown criticized her for comments she made about Detroit for their cover story. Now, Sinéad O'Connor is asking the 20-year-old star to stop "pimping" herself as an artist.

O'Connor's comments come after Miley said her "Wrecking Ball" music video was inspired by one of Sinéad's. "It's like the Sinéad O'Connor video [for 'Nothing Compares 2 U'], but, like, the most modern version," she says. "I wanted it to be tough but really pretty – that's what Sinéad did with her hair and everything."

Here's what O'Connor had to say:

I wasn't going to write this letter, but today i've been dodging phone calls from various newspapers who wished me to remark upon your having said in Rolling Stone your Wrecking Ball video was designed to be similar to the one for Nothing Compares … So this is what I need to say … And it is said in the spirit of motherliness and with love.

Miley Cyrus has responded with a series of tweets aimed at O'Connor, which call her mental health into question.
