Prince is serving up love before pancakes in his new music video "Breakfast Can Wait."
We should clarify that Prince doesn't make an actual appearance in this video directed by Danielle Curiel, but a female impersonator pulls off the 55-year-old singer's look pretty damn nicely. She even sports his needle-thin mustache for good measure.
The visuals focus on a couple that heat up the kitchen, for lack of a better term. It also cuts to a dozen or so dancers in a studio working on a choreographed number that's just as hot and tempting. Combined that with a clear reference to Dave Chappelle's hilarious Prince skit from a few years back and Prince's latest cut is a hit that crosses generations of fans.
"Breakfast Can Wait" will be included on Prince's upcoming album tentatively titled Plectrum Electrum.
