Mannie Fresh spoke with Vibe about some of the things he's been working on in the last few months. He said that he is currently working with Wiz Khalifa on songs for Blacc Hollywood, along with continuing work on his project with Yasiin Bey (he says that project is stalled temporarily as Yasiin continues his acting career). Talking about getting himself involved in different genres of music, Mannie said, "I'm doing bass trap, I'm doing EDM songs, so you'll see a lot of mixes from Mannie Fresh in the near future."

The idea of Mannie Fresh working on EDM did not sit right with Hudson Mohawke, who took to Twitter to express his repulsion with the idea.

If Twitter is any indication, Mohawke's sentiment is shared by several people, including Travi$ Scott, who retweeted the comment.

Considering that both Mohawke and Mannie both are part of Kanye West's stable of producers for G.O.O.D. Music, this comment is certainly interesting, but this is not the first time that the younger producer has voiced his displeasure with music on Twitter. This past summer, the producer criticized Jay Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail, which led to a back-and-forth with Mike Dean.

Mannie has not responded to Mohawke's comment thus far.
