The boy Atlantic Connection has been on a tear with his remix output as of late, and this rework of Katy Perry's "Wide Awake" shows how much the bass music scene is progressing. Clocking in at 155BPM, his take on "Wide Awake" gives Katy's pop appeal a solid bounce, with the electronic soul sounds that AC throws underneath underscoring the gravity of the lyrics. It's one of those instances where I'd not pay attention to this song in its regular form, but with this mesmerizing take on it, I'm questioning myself like "damn, do I really fucks with a Katy Perry song right now?"
