TDE's Jay Rock has been the subject of more than a few conversations lately suggesting that he's the group's most overlooked talent, and he's decided to offer some more arguments in that direction, going in over Pusha T's "Numbers on the Board." Assisted by a few Kendrick ad libs, he drops tidy lyrical jabs like "To be honest? Far from lyrical/Gifted with miracles/When I rhyme it's a ritual" and calls himself the "DMX of the projects."
So, yes, to answer the obvious question, he does put numbers on the board.
