Perfect week for this mix. I won't say why, but it's awesome that one of my favorite DJs, Hostage, has released his October 2013 studio mix this week. Dude's one of the nicest when it comes to the decks, but what he does on these mixes is straight disrespectful. He finds a way to weave a number of vibes in the house scene, from the more garage flavors to the jackin' sound to the more tech-infused bits. He can flip it all, and does so once a month for free. Maybe we can finagle him to rock a tracklist to one of these at some point> Some day, maybe.
