Watch Hardwell's First Interview Since Being Named the World's #1 DJ (By DJ Mag)

Well, the full 2013 DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list is out, and the rumors are true: Hardwell has been named #1. In his first exclusive interview (for DJ Mag TV, obvs), Hardwell talks about being on the list as being "a dream," calls it a "huge achievement" and feels that every DJ wants to be in the list. He even calls it "the Olympic games" for DJs. We're not so sure about that, unless he's talking about scams and spams for votes being akin to Olympic athletes doping in preparation for their sport. In any case, Hardwell talks about seeing Tiesto as being both a mentor and role model, and how his journey from playing music to DJing came to be. He also talks about wanting to start his working on his artist album in 2014.
