Let me preface this by saying I don't know "club" music as well as some of the others on the DAD squad. That said, I enjoy this shit out of this here new-fangled "Canadian club" track from via Grandtheft and Smalltown DJs via Main Course. Though the overarching genre of "club" music has largely been a regional affair to date, it seems now that trap and twerk have lost their initial steam, bloggers are ready to buzz on another sound and this track is accessible enough that it could really help that happen on a much bigger scale. With a simple catchy rap lyric hooking you in, the horns amping your energy up, and a freaked out percussive pattern, "Flying" is an accessible record that'll get unsuspecting dancefloors in a tizzy and wanting more.
