Elliott Wilson and Brian "B. Dot" Miller of Rap Radar stopped by the Juan Epstein podcast recently to talk to show hosts Peter Rosenberg, Cipha Sounds and Hot 97 program director Ebro about their website and Wilson's "CRWN" inteview series.

The hour-long conversation gets a little heated halfway in when Ebro and B.Dot argue about the influence – or lack thereof – of rap music on the radio in New York. "Until the people in New York who say that they're hip-hop come to the table and start breaking music for New York, and New York artists start making songs that are good to great, which aren't there," Ebro says. "I've set a tone and I've said there's minor league shit and there's major league shit. There's a lot of great underground shit, but it's great for that. It's not great for mainstream."
