While beef betweenCam'ron and Jay Z is nonexistent at this point, there was a time in the mid-2000s when these two rappers from New York were involved in a heated exchange that began when they were both a part of Roc-A-Fella Records. They've since let sleeping dogs lie, but according to Cam, Jay Z may still feel some type of way about their past.
In an interview with MTV, Cam claims Dipset music isn't allowed to be played in Hov's 40/40 Clubs. "If you go to the 40/40 Club you're not allowed to play Diplomat music. It's ridiculous," he says. "I got DJ's who DJ in there who are my people, and you can't play no Diplomat music in there. When we irk you that much, that's the thing that makes me be like, 'Wow.'"
"If I had $500 million nothing can make me mad," he continues. "But just for the simple fact that we get under your skin that much? Good, because we're that fly, we're that flashy, and we just that type of people to get you upset. But I don't have any problem with him, I think it's cool, but c'mon."
