For his television debut in the United States, The Weeknd took the stage at Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform "Pretty" last night in Los Angeles.
The Toronto singer's musical choice to perform a non-single from his debut album Kiss Land may have caught some by surprise, but in retrospect "Pretty" serves as a more conventional record than that of "Belong to the World" or the album's title-track. The Weeknd also noted in Seattle that "Pretty" was one of the records that, "Sums up that whole experience," referring to the making of Kiss Land.
