ScHoolboy Q's "Oxymoron" Does Not Have a Release Date Due to Sample Clearance Issues

New music is still on the way.

Fans were treated to good news earlier this week when ScHoolboy Q announced his upcoming album, Oxymoron, had been turned in to his label, Top Dawg Entertainment. This was a sign that the long-anticipated third solo album, his first distributed through Interscope, would be coming out soon. And while there has been some speculation regarding a possible release date, TDE's CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith decided to give an update last night that might be somewhat disappointing.

Top Dawg explained that the label is still looking to clear some samples on the album, and that until these samples can be cleared, the label will not be providing a release date. Top Dawg went on to indicate that the sample clearing process has been a bit trickier than anticipated.

However, Top Dawg plans to make up for the delay in a release date by giving fans a new song next week.
