Pusha T said he'll have the album of the year with My Name Is My Name and he meant it. He called into the Hot 97 morning show today to talk about Kanye's rant last week at his listening session, what to expect from his record, and introduced his new track, "Nosetalgia" featuring Kendrick Lamar.
"First of all when he asked me for the mic, I almost fainted then. I'm like, 'Wait a minute, you want a mic?' I purposely had the mic far away because I didn't even feel like talking, I just wanted to listen to the music. He asked for the mic so then I had to go get it," Pusha says. "Y'all don't understand, he always sits around and has that attitude, that braggy attitude about what's being done in music, what he's gonna do in music, what we've done, things we've created. We made this, we made that. It's really not new to me, people just don't know that until he goes on one of his wild rants."
