This year's Coors Light Search for the Coldest Contest saw over 3,000 entries, which were then narrowed to 15 MCs from cities all across the U.S. After an eight-city tour, which also featured guest performances by Juicy J, Pusha T, French Montana and Big Sean, more than 270,000 online votes had been cast for the audience's favorite MCs. The series culminated in a grand finale at New York City's Stage 48, where Ice Cube both performed and presided as the special guest host, along with Bun B and DJ Drama acting as judges.

The moment had finally come to select the MC who had shown the most showmanship and swagger, originality and creativity, and lyrical skills. And in the end, it was Mr. Hyde who was crowned the Coldest.

As part of the grand prize, Mr. Hyde, received a $20,000 check and will be given the opportunity to develop a single track produced by DJ Drama--featuring an exclusive verse from Bun B--and then have his song featured on the Coors Light Search for the Coldest Mixtape, which will be released in partnership with GoodMusicAllDay.com.
