Wale announed on Twitter that he and Mariah Carey are getting ready to release a new collaborative track. Additionally, it appears that Jermaine Dupri has his hands involved in the song also. Wale's tweet was rather concise, leaving little information regarding what project the song will appear on. With Wale having recently released The Gifted, it's possible that this could be the remix to one of his own songs, although unlikely. Mariah recently pushed back her next album, The Art of Letting Go, so there is a possibility that this song could be the next single for that project. However, this could also be a song on the upcoming Self Made Vol. 3 album from Maybach Music Group. Regardless of what project it will appear on, this track certainly has the potential to be a big one.
It's worth noting that around this time a year ago, Mariah released a single called "Triumphant," which featured MMG head honcho Rick Ross and fellow MMG representer Meek Mill. Will history repeat itself this year? Find out soon.
