Eminem releases his new record "Survival" today.
Previewed earlier in the video game trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts, the record finds the Detroit rapper in rare form as he rips through the menacing backdrop from DJ Khalil. "Wasn't ready to be a millionaire/I was ill-prepared/I was prepared to be ill though/The skill was there," he raps.
"Survival" serves as a song on the video games soundtrack, which comes out November 5. He's also appeared on singles with labelmates 50 Cent, Slaughterhouse and Skylar Grey in the last few years, but it looks like the head of Shady Records is finally ready to unleash his lyrical wrath here.
