For those of you who may have dozed off under your respective rocks in the last hour, Kendrick Lamar just called himself "the king of New York" on Big Sean's seven-minute "Control (HOF)."

New York rappers are bound to have feelings about this. Joey Bada$$ responded almost immediately. Hopefully for New York City, there is more than one person who is out here trying to step up and re-claim it from the Compton rapper. Competition makes everything better.
