Reports are circulating that someone has died during the Gathering of the Juggalos, which got underway two days ago. Police have yet to officially confirm the fatality, saying only that there had been an "incident" in the early afternoon hours, but the reports have been coming in from those who are currently attending the weeklong festival. These reports have been acknowledged by Jason Webber, director of public relations for Psychopathic Records, which puts on the event. "I can't talk about that on the record," Webber said.

While this individual's name, age, and gender are not yet known, it is believed that the cause of death was a heroin overdose. The Gathering of the Juggalos is known for its "drug bridge," a makeshift market of sorts, which has been in existence at the site for six years of the festival's thirteen year history. Just yesterday, police reported ten drug overdoses, but this was the first fatal case.

This was not the first casualty at the Gathering; just two years ago a 24-year old man was found dead in the Ohio River. Meanwhile, the festival will continue on; Dizzy Wright and Tech N9ne are among those slated to perform.
