In a recent interview with Power 106's L.A. Leakers, Future touched on a number of projects and collaborations he's working on.
Among those items was his involvement in Drake's "Started From the Bottom," which he initiated with a phrase he used in the studio. "Drake came by the studio, and I always tell my engineer, 'Start it from the bottom,'" Future explains. "When I said, 'Start it from the bottom,' he thought I was talking about a song."
Future says later on the Toronto rapper told him about a new song he made from this studio phrase, and paid him back accordingly. "He bought me a bottle of Louis XIII that I never opened up," Future says. "I was like, 'Man, I don't need a bottle, I need publishing."
Future's sophomore album Honest will be released November 26.
