Receiving this mix might be the best thing that's happened all day. Are you serious?! Diplo bringing in the Detroit ghettotech legend DJ Assault onto his Diplo & Friends program recently was awesome enough. I'm sure you know "Ass N Titties." Hell, even if you don't OCD on dance music like DAD does, you have to know that track. Proper party staple. If you weren't aware of anything from DJ Assault, who has been making what he calls "accelerated funk" and booty bass tracks since 1995, this is the mix you need. It's similar to RP Boo's FACT mix from this past spring, where he goes IN with a collection of his own tracks, stitching an hour-long trek into the sound of ghetto tech like no one else could. Proper education, proper funk journey. This will be on repeat for the rest of the week.
