Earlier this week, Danny Brown and Big Sean both spoke about their relationship with the city of Detroit in interviews with The Fader and Hip Hop Nation, respectively. Brown stated that him and Sean likely came from two different parts of Detroit, and that "he [Sean] probably was real spoiled or sheltered." In what seemed like a possible response, Sean said, "Fuck whoever talking about Big Sean and don't know nothing about Detroit or the streets of Detroit. I'm the only one out of ya'll rappers or even new rappers who was paying for Thanksgiving dinners last year, buying Christmas gifts. So if you ever talking shit about me like I ain't be up in the hood, nigga you crazy."

However, before anything further could come out of this situation, it looks like matters have been defused. Responding to a comment on Twitter from someone asking Sean and Brown to squash any beef they might have with each other, Sean said that the two rappers had spoken and that all issues had been settled. Brown later retweeted the comment, suggesting that things really have been settled once and for all.

@captain_xo me n @XDannyXBrownX talked like men and got it all squared away. The city needs to stick together!! We both agreed #Detroit
